I absolutely adore St. Paul Corner Drug. It is leagues better than the big chains that call themselves pharmacies. (CVS's policies on not giving their pharmacists bathroom breaks and having them work ungodly hours keeps me from supporting them.) But even if the big chains were playing fair, St. Paul Corner Drug would still be better. The pharmacists and staff are all incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Plus, there is a soda fountain! With the cheapest prices! Sit and have a coffee for a nickel, I mean, come on!

Awesome place to go get malts or ice cream. It’s a good place to have fun and socialize with friends and family.

This space is absolutely adorable, and the staff is very friendly and quick to help. They have a small soda parlour I highly recommend checking out.

The staff and pharmacists know me by name, and always offer consults on new prescriptions. They worked with me when we rented a wheelchair for my grandmother, when I would be cutting it close to closing and needed to pick up a medication, and they genuinely care about their customers. They aren't big, and are somewhat out of the way since I moved out of the neighborhood, but I come back every few weeks, without fail. I can't say enough about how great this pharmacy is.

This one star goes to Sally the technician. I am upset because I called ahead of time specifically to make sure that the insurance card I was bringing in was the new version. The purpose was so I wouldn't have to walk all the way to the pharmacy in four degree weather. She sounded inconvenienced on the phone, so she told me to just come in instead of just comparing the insurance numbers. I came in, and she told me the card I had was the old card. She was unapologetic and condescending. She told me to either pay cash and get a refund later or come back the next day.
